BAR TOMER
28.4.1998 – 7.10.2023
3 Iyar 5758 – 22 Tishrei 5784
Bar was born in Kibbutz Ein Shemer to her parents Nili and Eyal and her siblings Aviv and Moran.
She was the youngest child, who upon her birth brightened up the house and became a source of pleasure and happiness for all around her.
Bar lived like a shining star, embracing every moment of her 25 years:
she painted, danced and spent every free minute with her many friends.
Loved by all, a great listener, a caring, supportive and encouraging human being, with an admirably positive attitude to life.
Her military service was in the Navy as a liaison officer.
After completing her service, she traveled all over the world, worked as a painter at music festivals, as a bartender, as a youth guide, and in her last job – as a human resources coordinator at the "Elkonin" hotel.
At the same time, she studied psychology and management at Bar Ilan University.
In addition, she delved into Eastern philosophies and spiritual growth, studied NLP and practiced Yoga and Pilates.
All this and more she did with great talent, professionalism and inexhaustible vitality.
Bar remained a star even when she left the world:
On the 22nd of Tishrei, on Shabbat – Simhat Torah at the cosmic Super Nova Festival, her star collapsed into itself.
Bar managed to call her family and tell them that they were being shot at for two and a half hours, that she loves them – and then her voice fell silent, forever.
She was considered missing for a week, which ended with the tragic news of her murder.
Her remains were found under the ambulance in Re’im.
To her many loved ones, a massive black hole remains, along with an indescribable sense of pain and loss for a life full of promise that was cut short, far too soon.
